Your Intro to College Life

Ah, orientation. A time where you learn where to go, who to talk to, and what's most important to your success on campus. Whether you are a new, transfer, or adult student, or a parent wanting to know more about what your student will experience, we have the right orientation program for you.

Our Student Orientation Staff members are some of the brightest stars on campus, and they will ensure you the best, most informative experience possible.

Forever Your Krewe

At SOUL Camp, students are placed into small groups, called Krewes, which are named after significant university tradition or historical facts.

As a Krewe member, you will educate your peers on the importance of your Krewe name, and create bonds with your fellow Krewe members that will last beyond your experience on campus.

Pocket Full of Soul

SOUL Camp is a unique experience designed to provide you with the skills and networks to help you develop leadership skills and Ragin' Cajun spirit.

Through a combination of a community service project, educational speakers, social activities, and interaction with faculty, staff, and upperclass student mentors, team building, and much more, students leave camp prepared to be an engaged member of our campus community.
