Parent & Family Orientation
Although not mandatory, we highly encourage all parents or guardians supporting First-Time Freshmen to participate in Parent & Family Orientation. The program is designed to assist parents' understanding of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, our academic programs, and student services. In addition, the program is structured to help you understand your student's transition into college life and how you can best support your student through those transitions.
Registration Information
Parent & Family Orientation registration, for Spring 2025 and Summer and Fall 2025, is not yet available. Parent & Family Orientation registration is completed in conjunction with student registration. Once orientation registration opens, have your student click on the Parent & Family Orientation tab within the orientation registration system and they can add up to 2 guests.
