Although not mandatory, we highly encourage all parents or guardians supporting First Time Freshmen to attend Parent Orientation. Parent Orientation is designed to assist parents' understanding of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, its academic programs, and its student services. In addition, the program is structured to help you understand the transition of your student and how you can best support your student through those transitions.
Summer & Fall Parent Orientations occur on the first day of our two-day Student Orientation sessions. There are optional sessions available for parents on the second day.
