Fall Adult Orientation

Fall Adult Learner Orientation is designed for new Adult Learners (21+) beginning their studies at UL Lafayette during Fall semester.  During Orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet with your college dean, meet with other incoming students, learn about important university resources, and meet with an academic advisor in preparation of registering for classes.  You will be lead through your experience by a member of our Student Orientation Staff.

*Students attending the Late Fall Orientation will incur a $50 late course registration fee that will be applied to their Tuition and Fees.  Students are encouraged to attend the May, June or July orientations to avoid this late fee. 

Orientation Registration

Orientation registration is not yet available. Orientation packets will be mailed to admitted students beginning in late February, 2018.

Orientation Fee

The fee for Adult Learner Orientation is $50.00 and includes all Orientation program materials, lunch, program facilitation, and a Ragin' Cajun spirit shirt, lanyard and bag. Click here for payment instructions.


Driving Directions and Parking

Parking details will be available in May, 2018.
 

Check-In Time & Location

Check-in runs from 8:00 AM - 9:10 AM in the Student Union Ballroom (E6 on our Campus Map).


Orientation Length

Orientation runs from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Students are REQUIRED to participate in the FULL DURATION of Orientation activities. Those arriving late or leaving early will be required to reschedule to another orientation session.


Schedule of Events

The Schedule of Events will be available in May, 2018.

A printed copy of the Schedule of Events will be provided at check-in.
