Missed Spring Orientation?
Thu, 01/07/2016 - 9:06amTo facilitate a successful transition to UL Lafayette, new students are required to attend an orientation session. Students unable to attend any of our Spring orientations, including the January 6 late spring orientation, must attend one of our mini-orientations sessions to be able to register for classes.
Pre-registration is not necessary; students should arrive at one of the dates and times below. Students arriving after the start time will have to wait until the next session begins.
Mini-orientations will be held on:
January 12 - (8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 AM and then again at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 PM)
January 13 - (8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 AM and then again at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 PM)
January 14 - (8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 AM and then again at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 PM)
January 15 - (8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 AM)
Check-in will be in Lee Hall room 115 (C6/D6 on our Campus Map).
After orientation is completed, students will be directed to academic advising and to take their Cajun Card ID photo (a form of photo ID is required to take your ID photo).
After the dates above have passed, mini-orientations will move to Buchanan Hall room 311.
The same orientation fee applies to these mini-sessions ($100 Freshman, $50 Transfer/Adult). Orientation payment can be made on that date (but AFTER attending the mini orientation session) in the Student Cashier’s Office (cash, check or money order only), located in the Student Union room 135.
