Orientation Zoom Sessions: Networking and Q&A

To supplement your Online Orientation experience, we're hosting a variety of live Q&A sessions via Zoom. These sessions will allow you to network with other new students and parents, the Orientation Staff, and faculty and staff from across campus. You can participate in these sessions at any point in your orientation journey - you are not required to have completed online orientation to join in. We look forward to connecting with you!

Members of our staff are here to answer your questions about student life at UL Lafayette and what it takes to be a successful and involved Ragin’ Cajun! This session is open to all freshmen, transfer, and adult students.

Money Matters

Do you have questions about paying for college? Representatives from the Financial Aid Office, Scholarship Office, and Student Cashier’s Center will gather to answer your financial questions. This session is open to all freshmen, transfer, and adult students as well as parents and family members.

Getting involved is vital to a successful college experience! Join representatives from the Office of Student Engagement & Leadership for this fun and interactive session all about campus involvement. This session is open to all freshmen, transfer, and adult students.

Transfer Student Q&A

If you are transferring to UL Lafayette from another institution, join our staff and our Transfer Coordinator for an opportunity to have your questions answered and connect with fellow transfer students! This session is open to all transfer students.

On course registration days, the Office of Orientation will host Zoom sessions for students to log in and ask any registration related questions. See the table below for a list of course registration start times (by session) and Zoom session dates and times. Feel free to log in and out of these sessions as needed to ask questions.

Join us for a general Q&A session with our campus partners from the Office of First-Year Experience, Housing, Dining Services, and the Dean of Students Office. This session is open to all parents and family of new students.
