Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette! Your UL college career begins at Orientation, the best place to begin your transition to college life.

We offer various Orientation programs to meet the needs of our diverse and dynamic student population.

  • Adult Orientation is designed for adult learners (21 years or older) who have never attended college before.
  • Transfer Orientation is designed for students who are transferring to UL from another accredited institution.

Students who have been admitted to UL Lafayette will receive Orientation registration information in the mail. The packet will include instructions on how to register for an Orientation session. Pre-registration is required.
