In order to facilitate your transition into our university, all new students are required to attend one of our New Student Orientation sessions. Your Orientation is led in part by the Student Orientation Staff (SOS). SOS members are current UL Lafayette students who are prepared to help you with every aspect of getting started at UL Lafayette. SOS will share their own student experience with you to better prepare you to become a member of our Ragin' Cajun family. At freshman Orientation you will schedule your classes, and learn more about:
Spring Freshman Orientation
Early Freshman Orientation
The Early Freshman Orientation program is an invitational program for students starting UL Lafayette in the fall 2010 or summer 2010 term. In addition to regular Freshman Orientation activities, this comprehensive 2-day program includes Advance Credit Exams (ACE). Students may earn UL Lafayette course credit even before their first semester at UL Lafayette through ACE.
Fall Freshman Orientation
Fall freshman Orientation is a comprehensive 2-day program.
ALL Freshmen are required to attend Orientation.
Late Freshman Orientation Late Freshman Orientation Sessions are offered for students who are unable to attend a regular Orientation Session. Students are strongly encouraged to attend a regular Orientation Session to receive the best selection of classes.
