Parent Orientation & Resources

Parents and Families are critical in helping students succeed during college. The Office of Orientation & The Division of Student Affairs welcome parents and families to join us for a special Orientation program that runs concurrently with most of our Ragin' Cajun Orientation Programs.

Parent Orientation is a 1-day program designed to help parents & guardians understand the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, it's academic programs, and it's student support services. In addition, the program will help you understand the transition issues your student will face, and how you can best support your student through those transitions.
